Don Glass
An Accomplished Business Development and Sales Executive

Since 1985 Don Glass has worked with leading production, entertainment and broadcasting companies. The list of companies includes Turner Broadcasting System, Inc, Crawford Communications, Inc, and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
During Don’s tenure at the WWE and TBS, Don developed Pay-Per-View Television as a highly successful television medium. National events were produced in leading Arenas and Coliseums throughout the U.S. and Canada and fed via satellite and fiber-optic to broadcast television networks, including NBC, FOX, WGN, TBS, TNT and the USA Networks.
While at TBS, Don served as the Promotions Director and oversaw the production of live events, television production, and syndication. Don’s work at Crawford began in 1994. During the ’96 Olympics - held in Atlanta that year, Don worked with leading international broadcasters, and his responsibilities included the management of satellite services for BTV (British Telecom), Canal Plus (French/Spanish owned), Telespazio (Italy), and The Deutsch Telecom Authority.
While at Crawford, the Satellite Services division, which was managed by Don, was one of the first teleport facilities in North America to transmit the Internet over satellite. Don also launched the MGM Studio Network and CMT-Latin; both new cable channels incepted for the Latin and Brazilian cable television markets, covering C/S Americas. Don produced the Olympic Torch Relay for Coca Cola while at Crawford in 1996. This event stopped in more than 100 U.S Cities, and was a grassroots effort to establish awareness for the Olympic Games. The live feed was distributed each day via a satellite uplink and fed as a VNR (video news release) to network affiliates throughout the U.S.
From 2000 – 2004 Don served as co-owner and VP of Code Media. Code Media provided high-speed Internet to underdeveloped regions throughout the world where a poor telecom infrastructure was bypassed using downlink satellite antenna. Code Media provided service to Eastern Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, Pakistan and India.
Don’s is currently the National Accounts Manager for Tech Rentals, LLC. Don’s daily activities at Tech Rentals include the sales and marketing of special events, video- production, satellite news gathering (SNG), electronic news gathering (ENG) and editing services.
Don is the current President-elect of MCA-I Atlanta, formerly ITVA. Media Communications Association - International is the leading organization dedicated to serving the needs of media professional within Metro Atlanta. We are honored to have Don as the President of the MCA-I Atlanta chapter for 2010.
